Viridiant
Making sustainable building certification feel human, on a brand new viridiant.org.

The context
Certification with a human problem.
Viridiant is a nonprofit advancing sustainable building across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast: green building certification, energy advisory and building-science training for the people who design, build and live in better homes. Important work, explained in the language of standards, codes and checklists.
The new site had to do three jobs at once: raise awareness of Viridiant's programs and events, drive donations and support from corporate and private sponsors, and give builders, homeowners and educators an easy way to find the resources they need. The old site answered all of them the same technical way.
The idea
Clarity is the conversion strategy.
When every visitor finds their own door in seconds, certification stops feeling like paperwork.
We rebuilt the site around its audiences instead of the org chart: clear paths for builders, developers and homeowners, each leading to the programs, standards and training that matter to them.
Then we made it fast, accessible and light, because a nonprofit advancing sustainable building should run on a site that practices what it preaches. Design, development and SEO, delivered as one piece.
The work
A brand new viridiant.org.
In motion
See Viridiant in motion.
The outcome
Built to inform, convert and last.
The new viridiant.org delivers a modern, intuitive experience: audience-first paths for builders, developers and homeowners, a visually engaging design that puts the mission front and center, and clearer routes to donate, enroll and get involved. Certification, advisory and training finally speak the language of the people they serve.
